We can help you
Whatever is worrying you, we’re here to help. CCTS offers counselling support to anyone who needs it, so when you’re ready to talk, we’re ready to listen.
We offer Face to Face counselling and Remote counselling* (Online via Zoom/WhatsApp or by telephone). We also offer ‘Walk & Talk‘ therapy where this is suited to you and the counsellor.
You can self refer to our service using our confidential and encrypted form available on our website below:
Whether you are looking to gain additional Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours, improve your people helping skills or just want to learn something new, then we can help.
The current courses we have available are shown below and can also be found on our Eventbrite page – follow us there or on Facebook to be the first to hear when any new training goes live!
Our aim is to provide a range of accredited courses and workshops throughout the year that are designed for people with different levels of experience or needs. Previous workshop topics have included Internal Family Systems (IFS), Substance Misuse Brief Interventions, Understanding Sex & Porn Addiction, Introduction to the Enneagram, Gender, Sex and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) and the Impact of Child Sexual Abuse on Adult Survivors. Previous attendees have said:
“An excellent day, thank you very much. I have a greater understanding of the subject, and feel more equipped to support people”
“A very well presented day, very informative and much to take away, ponder on and use in client work”
“Thanks so much, really helpful and informative, gentle and wise. Great handout too!”
“Thank you for co-ordinating a seamless training session and delivering it in a sensitive and thoughtful way so as to allow for the self care / thoughts / experiences of all”
Although most of our face to face training is based in Southampton, we can also deliver in person in other locations if there are sufficient attendees to make it viable.
Please get in touch if there is a counselling related topic or speaker that you are interested in and we will do our best to organise and provide this.
We currently have a team of 20 counsellors who come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. They are all professionally trained and registered with a professional body, such as the BACP, ACC or BABCP. Counsellors are accountable through regular supervision, complete at least 25 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) each year and have all completed enhanced DBS checks.
