The AEB (Adult Education Budget)fund a range of accredited programmes ultimately giving Free Courses in England access to NCFE CACHE & TQUK branded courses, meaning learners gain qualifications from the specific sector. By utilising training providers and colleges, they can fund the delivery of education and training for learners aged 19+. The AEB sets the aim to provide facilities and funding to enhance engaged adults in the following ways:
- Increase Health and Social Care and Awareness
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Improve Digital and Media Skills
- Refresh the skills of individuals
- Prepare adults for the workplace
- Support career changes
Refreshing skills of an employer’s current workforce and improving their progression opportunities are viewed as significant factors, by the government, in allowing individuals to progress their lives and careers.
The only eligibility requirements in place are the following:
Aged 19 or over as of 31/8/21
Living in England
Have lived in the UK/EU/EEA for at least 3 years*
Not completed any part of the course before
*EEA nationals will need to have obtained either pre-settlement or settled status and provide evidence of this.
The level 2 qualifications we offer typically involve a lengthy enrolment process, however, here at Free Courses in England, we take care of all of the hard work.
