We’re looking for volunteers with good communication skills to support our patient experience team with obtaining feedback from our patients about their experiences of the services at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS).
With thousands of patients using our services every day, it’s important for us to make sure that they receive high quality care, that their voices are listened to, and that we are always thinking of ways to improve their experience. This is where you’ll come in.
Our survey volunteers interact with patients to obtain feedback from them through encouraging them to complete written surveys, telephone surveys, face to face meetings or describing their experience of ward stays:
We’re looking for people to help support this, with the role involving:
helping patients complete surveys using tablets or paper surveys
helping our patients to raise any concerns, allowing them to have their say about their experience
collecting paper/card surveys from the wards and uploading these into our digital database
Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
We’re looking for volunteers who are able to commit to a minimum of three hours per week for around six months or more. Our team is available from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and offer a range of flexible shift patterns to suit your needs.
