Jamie’s computers
Takes unwanted computer equipment from people or companies, refurbishes it, sells it to the public or gives it free to charities or low-income families. Trains homeless and vulnerably-housed people in computer refurbishment.
Set up by The Society of St. James in 2002, Jamie’s professionally and ethically recycle a wide range of IT and computer equipment.
70% of donated equipment is reused, recycled and upcycled to Microsoft standards. The rest is broken down into components and recycled, meaning that 0% of material goes to landfill.
We also provide volunteering opportunities to give individuals the chance to learn practical skills in a real business environment.
