Providing Conductive Education and support to inspire children with Cerebral Palsy and adults with a stroke, MS and Parkinson’s and their families.
The Rainbow Centre is a wonderful Fareham-based charity that supports children with Cerebral Palsy and adults with MS, Parkinson’s and those recovering from a stroke.
We have traditionally used a positive system of learning called ‘Conductive Education’ that focuses on what individuals are able to do in order to become active, happy and proud of their achievements. The aim is for our children to fulfil their potential and meet the challenges in life that most of us overcome without a thought. We are now expanding our adult service to help people with other motor impairment disabilities and are using the Conductive Education practices to enhance neurological enablement – helping people to find different and easier ways to do things learning or re-learning lost or hard to do life independence skills.
