This ONLINE evening course will provide an initial understanding of what we mean by assertiveness and give an opportunity for exploring a variety of tools and techniques to help develop assertive behaviour. It will also look at conflict, identifying and exploring different styles of dealing with conflict, and how appropriate these are in a number of situations.

This a great course for anyone who would like to volunteer or work in a café or in a food preparation role or who regularly prepares food at home for social and community events.
International Chef, Kevin Ashton, will take you through the rules and good practice required in a food operation so that you can be assured the food you prepare is safe to eat (as well as delicious)!
Students completing this online course will receive a WEA certificate of attendance which may be noted on your C.V.
