We have had to cancel our groups and activities, but we have posted up guidelines on our website. We are using our current group facebook page and one of our volunteers has activated a ‘we are together’ facebook page for support. We are in process of setting up a support system of telephone contact with our volunteers and staff for 2 hour periods every day and instituting a new kind of peer support of our own to support our members; especially those who live alone or are more vulnerable. We are drawing up a list of people now to identify needs. We are also instituting an online support system and aiming to set up video conferencing facilities so we can accommodate ‘virtual’ group activities. Creative Options now provide a complete online programme via. zoom – details on our website. We also offer on our programme an ‘isolation’ support group at 6 p.m. on a Tuesday.
We are still running our Wednesday Wellbeing Support Group, but this now needs to be pre-booked.
