GamCare - the charity which supports those with an addiction to gambling - has posted a blog outlining which of their services are still available during the lockdown. Their helpline is open 24/7 plus they have online forums and chatroom sessions to provide additional support. Treatment services are being done over the phone
Steps to Wellbeing continues to accept new referrals and deliver psychological treatments to individuals across the city. All clinical activity is being delivered remotely either online, telephone or video conferencing and they continue to offer individual CBT, counselling, and computerised CBT packages. In response to Covid-19, Steps to Wellbeing have developed a Coping with Covid Anxiety Webinar, which patients can access following self-referral to the service and assessment. The standalone webinar explores patients' anxieties around Covid and how small changes to behaviour and thinking can help. We have a telephone rota of staff and volunteers. We are phoning all of our clients regularly. The most vulnerable are being called daily. If our clients need anything they can leave a message on our main phone or email us. We are providing a home contact service for those who need shopping/medication delivery or just need checking on due to extreme anxiety.

Stroke Association Southampton Communication Support Services aim to support stroke survivors whose communication has been affected by their stroke in order to build confidence and promote independence. As a Communication Support Volunteer you will support people who have communication difficulties following a stroke.
